Thank you for your interest in a D. James hat! Every hat we make is handcrafted from a selection of fur felts, ensuring your investment in a D. James original is one that will last. Every hat is hand-blocked, shaped, cut, and styled in-house; making these truly one-of a kind, heirloom pieces.

To get started on your D. James Custom hat, schedule a fitting below. Once we’ve finalized your design, we’ll take a $500 deposit to begin the creation of your custom hat.

We primarily work with 100% beaver fur felts, which start at $1,200.  We have a limited selection of nutria fur felts which start at $1,200, and beaver/hare fur blends, which start at $1,000.
